Evaluierung des AMS-Schulungssystems in der Steiermark
Diese Studie stellt einen Teil der Evaluierung des AMS-Schulungssystems in der Steiermark dar. Im Rahmen dieser Evaluation, die sich auf die Maßnahmen der Jahre 1993 und 1995 bezieht, erfolgt eine Kombination von qualitativer und quantitativer Vorgangsweise, wobei der vorliegende Bericht den quantitativen Teil abdeckt. Die qualitative Analyse wurde vom Büro für Sozialforschung durchgeführt. Die quantitative Wirkungsanalyse basiert auf einem kombinierten Datensatz von AMS-Daten und Daten des Hauptverbandes der Sozialversicherungsträger

Feasibility of European Observatory of innovations in qualifications and training needs analyses. Country Study Austria
In 1997 the European Commission intended to create an European observatory of innovative practices in vocational education and training in order to improve the capitalization and the transfer of innovations at the level of the European Union. Corresponding to that intention the Austrian feasibility study consists of a description of two major innovations concerning the analyses of qualification and training needs: 1) the need/ acceptance analysis of new "Fachhochschul" - courses and 2) the inquiry into demands for skills/ analyses of skills by means of the TAI (Tätigkeits-Analyse-Inventar). Furthermore the study comprises a general assessment of the description of such an Observatory and recommends potential users of the Observatory.
